DSSS
system is one of the spread spectrum communications, which
information signal is carried out directly by spreading codes
that independent from the information signal. By utilizing the
codes, the DSSS system can be used as a multiple access in the
same bandwidth. The receiver must have the same spreading codes
with the transmitter in order to get the information signal.
One
of the problems to get the information signal is the phase of
the spreading codes at the receiver must be the same from the
transmitter. This problem can be solved by synchronization that
consists acquisition and tracking.
This
final project simulates the generation of the signal and the
acquisition process. Acquisition process uses matched filter. In
the end, it can describe about the generation of the signal and
the period of the acquisition process in a DSSS system.
